I need some suggestions. As you may or may not know, the new Andrew Lloyd Webber version of "The Phantom of the Opera" has just come to theatres. (If it's not playing in your city, it will be by Jan 21).
I want to make a flash movie of the main theme, "The Phantom of the Opera" using a male version of Blazeblast as the Phantom and whoeverelse as Christine. The first thing I want to know is:
Should I use the recording from the original London cast (Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman), or the new recording from the movie? Both are very good, but in the original recording the Phantom's voice is much higher than in the movie's, and so Christine's has been adjusted accordingly. If you haven't seen the movie or the show, you can listen to clips at Amazon.com (just search for Phantom of the Opera) or you can IM me at BlazeblastArasoi and I can send you the MP3's.
Comment please!!
Edit:
Thanks to those of you who have offered to let me use your female fursonas as Christine, but I think I have settled on my friend Kasai. As you can see from my work, I have drawn her many times before, so I think I would be most comfortable having to draw her in the elaborate animations I'll be doing. Also, her character is in great contrast with Blazeblast, what with dark and light and so on. Thank you once again for your input!
You prolly hear this all the time but I really like your work. It's very well shaded and nicely drawn. I can tell that you put effort into each of them. Good job!
